I have a new job that requires me to use Excel, now I know the basics,
with formulas etc. But how do I make a template that has a number that
increases by one every time I open a new one? Such as Quickbooks does
with the invoice numbers.

New workbook won't open in normal view

When ever I create a new workbook in Excel (Office 2004), it always
comes up in Page Layout view. I cannot find a way to tell Excel to
always open a new workbook in Normal view.
Can someone help me? I'm sure it's an easy solution but I can't seem to
find it. ...
