Okay folks... I'm an idiot. Here goes: is there a way to "automate" excel
in order to pull figures from one spreadsheet and place them onto another
spreadsheet. For instance, let's say I have worksheet entitled "list" with

Finding duplicated records

ERROR when using GetOpenFilename

When I run the following code I get an error:
CODE:

ERROR:
Run-time error '1004'
Method 'GetOpenFilename' of object '_Application' failed
This works on a PC but not on a Mac!!

Excel 2004 crashes on update/insert/load query

I've tried sending update and insert queries and a load data local command
via a query table. It's a bit hack, but I don't see another way. This
results in a hard crash of Excel.
I'm running Excel 2004 (PPC MAC, OS X 10.4) and mysql (similar problem w/
another database).
