I have just got DSL. I dont have a router just the modem. I have built in
ethernet on my mobo. My question is can I get another ethernet card for my
pc and connect my xbox to it and use ics to connect to live? Can someone
explain how to make this setup to me? Thanx in advance ...

hi - I recently had a few connections problems which I assumed were caused by
my router. As it turned out, they weren't, but did result in me performing a
factory reset on the router. Now, unsurprisingly, I can't get on to XBOX
live.
What do I need to do - enter the IP addresses? - will I lose gamer tag ...

Hi,
I use my xbox through a DSL modem that goes through a router(dlink DI604).
i have PPPoE enabled, and have used this set up without issue for over a year.
All of a sudden, without warning, i will be disconnected from teh sevice,
usually during a game of HALO 2. the screen will go to the blue "setting ...

I have confirmed changes in my connections to the xbox live server after the
recent upgrades, and I was surprised to notice that they are in fact much
