Help - cant get out to rescue the captain - Halo PC

Hi All
I'm new to games (and pretty crap at them)
level 3 the "Truth and reconciliation" in Halo PC
I'm stuck in the launch bay trying to get out and find the brig to rescue
the captain.
The exit doors are shut or only lead to closed doors.
All the marines have cleared off or are dead and I'm on my own figh ...

My only question is why the hell does halo have it's own newsgroup? Like, I
can understand that Xbox is the only news-supported console, but this is
Microsoft. But Halo? Halo was okay, Halo 2 was a friggin expansion pack.
Halo 3 is apparently the driving force of the 360. Like that works...

I was watching Aliens last night and it me laugh how some of the scenes with
the Marines were similar to those in Halo:
Their commander, Apone, is black - so too is Sgt. Johnson. Only thing
