HELP: XBOX to Media Player - Music on networks drive

My setup. I have a Media PC running XP and Media Player 11. My music files
are located on a file server which the Media PC connect to as drive M:
MP11's library is setup pointing to this M: drive. That all works great.

LIVE Has or has been upgraded to, we do know 10 million consoles sold
in the U.S. and 19 Million Worldwide.
Given These Figures, If I was in charge of XBOX LIVE And had 40
Billion dollars Behind Me, I would make capacity thinking EVERY Member

Title says it all. Just bought the xbox 360 Elite last night and when I
try to use it as a media extender, it tells me my network is slow but
supports 802.11 a. However, my D-Link DIR-655 doesn't support 802.11a. So
now I'm confused!! I thought 802.11a is old, and my D-Link is a draft N 2.0
router. ...
