Problem with VS 2008 and VSS 2005

I'm having problems with VS 2008 and VSS 2005 (on Vista) when trying to
check-in files. I have applied the CTP update, and re-registered
tdnamespaceextension.dll.
When I try to check-in a file (or project or solution..) the file simply
doesn't check-in and the output from source control only says:

How to automate daily and weekly checkin history report

Hello,
We are using VSS2005. We need to monitor the daily and weekly checkin
history and were wondering if we could automate it.
Is there some way I can have these reports generated automatically and
mailed to some specific emailIids?
Any help or pointers would be of great help.

I use VSS 2005 integrated with Visual Studio (2005 and 2008). I have
all updates for VSS and VS applied. I do NOT have VS 2008 SP1 Beta
applied. VSS database is located on the network share. I have third
party diff application configured in VSS client (Araxis Merge).

VSS 2005 Clients Freeze

We have a Visual SourceSafe 2005 server and four clients running Visual
Studio 2005. They interface to the server using the plug-in to SourceSafe,
but they also have Visual SourceSafe Client 6.0 installed. Both clients and
