Enabling SourceSafe Web Access

Hi,
I've been looking for at least 1 week an HOWTO install and configure
SourceSafe 2005 to enable HTTP access and how to enable it in Visual Studio
2003 or 2005.
Does someone got a link to a nice howto method ?

Problem check out xls file

Hi
I have a very strange problem. When I try to view or check out xls or doc
files from vss, it just hangs.
Strange thing is that if I had already open an instance of xls or word then
the file open.
I need some help in sorting this problem ...

I have a solution with several projects. I use Visual Studio 2005 to check
in/check out of Visual Source Safe.
I received updated files for one of the projects (fron an off-site
consultant). I simply copied the files into the proper project directory.

Hi all.
We have a new Dell Latitude D820 on our network and VSS is extermely slow
starting! Even clicking on the menu's takes along time to pull down.
Visual Studio is on the same machine starts really fast with no problems!

I need to generate a report in Visual SourceSafe that gives the check out
and check in time for all files in a folder within the VSS. This should also
include the check out and check in time for the previous 2 versions of the
file.
