VS2008 Professional SP1 Intellisense tooltips some static or what?

Sometimes the tooltip allows me to click through a list of overloads and
other times I see static (+5 overloads) or whatever with no way to list the
overloads. Does this mean Intellisense is incomplete? Would it be incomplete
for a Member.GetUser for example?
Its also very frustrating to even get Intellisen ...

Compiling Deployment Package invokes installer (Error 1706)

Hi there,
when I compile a deployment project in VS 2003, VS installer
pops up and trys to install something before failing with Error 1706. No
valid source could be found for product Visual Studio...
How do i find out what it is looking for and where it is looking for it?

Wednesday all fine - debug working for all projects in solution

VS 2008 cant show main form design view - missing required dlls. These are
3 other projects in solution. Its looking in release directory - they all in
debug directory.

Adding a project reference -- missing projects!!!

I'm using Visual Studio 2005. In my solution, when adding a project
reference to one of the projects, I see all of the other projects in the
solution. When my colleague does the same, only a subset of those projects

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite and i was able to run tests
until a couple of weeks ago.
I run VS as myself in Vista as my user account which is non-admin and
UAC enabled. I get "Exception has been thrown by the target of an

Visual Studio 2008 SP1 requires 4GB space?

Hi!
I am trying to install sp1 for vs2008 but the setup tells me that it
would require 4GB hd space and doesn't let me click the continue button.
Is this a bug? I mean the complete vs2008 including msdn doesn't require
as much hd space on my disk! Is there a workaround?

While going through a tutorial about C# I am creating lots of new
projects. Every time I have to set the build options to 'Treat warning
as errors'.
Can someone tell me how to set some 'global' or 'template' settings so
every new project will inherit these settings.
