Tool box choose item kills VS

In VS 2008 when I right click on tool box and select Choose Items â?¦ VS is
busy (unresponsive) for a while then VS quits, disappears from the screen and
the task manager processes list. No dialog box appears in that time. Any

VSTO and silent switches

HI guys,
We have a group of programers who created an application that as 2 files
(setup.exe and a amo02.VSTO). When we click on setup.EXe which calls the VSTO
file we need to click install. We need to make it completly silent. Is
there any switches that we can use to make it quiet? We tried the /Q /sil ...

Irritating behavior -- constant saving of project

My Visual Studio 2008 has developed an irritating behavior with regard to a
specific project in my Solution. It keeps prompting me to save it every time
I close the Solution, and the project has not been changed.
Has anybody else encountered this? Is there a quick fix? ...

How do I send commands to Visual Studio from another application?

For some reason, I need to send commands to Visual Studio, from
another application.
For example, I want to tell Visual Studio "open this file and go to
line 5".
