TFS Team Build + Staging Server
27 Apr 2006 10:59:35 -0700
Hello all,
This isn't so much of a *problem* as it is that I know what I want to
do, but I'm not sure where to start. We have a Team Foundation Server
(TFS) install and a Team Build, which we've used Scheduled Tasks to
execute nightly at midnight. The solution contains several class
libraries, but ultimat ...

Mon, 24 Apr 2006 15:12:27 -0700
I just installed VSS 2005. When I open VS 2005 and try to open a project
from Source Control, I no longer have that option (as it existed with VS
6.0d). After uninstalling and reinstalling several time and ways, I still
don't have this option. How can I get it back?

When adding a solution to source control, if I create a project folder in VSS and then drag and drop the files from the source location in Windows Explore to the VSS, if I subsequently open the project in VB.NET, it looks the same as before...source control is not applied.

In VSS 6.0d, how do you get the client options to appear in VB.NET, e.g.
"Add Solution to Source Control"? We have one workstation where the source
control options appear, but on the other workstations, it does not. Is
there a client software that needs to be installed for VSS?
Thanks.

Converting from VSS 6.0 to Team Foundation Server?
Tue, 18 Apr 2006 05:51:03 -0700
We want to try to convert from VSS to TFS for source control, but I
understand shared files are not supported. A third party product supposedly
can create a linked list of "shared" files and maintain this but does not
seem to have any command line support. Will the converter that comes with
TFS also do t ...

living in a Republic? Or a mob-ocracy? And where is our representation in
