VSS 6 and Visual Studio 2003

Hi Everyone,
I haved added my project files to a VSS project, and in VS 2003 IDE when I
opened the project I also added them to VSS in the same project, but when I
check out a file within VS 2003 IDE I can not see the icon changes in VSS and
worse than that I can not see the history of my Check in and Check ...

recursively all the files from the project. I can do this no problems.
However some of the files might be checked out to ME, and I DON'T want

Adding existing VS2005 soulution to SourceSafe2005

I have an existing VS2005 solution.
I have setup the SS database and chosen a directory in SS2005 administrator.
Then I open my solution i VS2005 and right click on it. From here i choose "add to source control" and this works fine. All functions like check in check out and so on works also fine.

I am new to VS 2005. I am creating a VC++ application. I have VSS 6.0
installed in my machine. Is VS 2005 integrated with VSS 6.0? I could
not find any option to add solution/project to VSS in the VS 2005 IDE.

I have VSS and VS 2005 loaded. I use VSS for other projects, so it's
working. I cannot seem to add a project from within the IDE to VSS. If I
look under Tools/Options/Source Control, no plug-ins are showing. Any ideas? ...

Share, Pin and Branch a project with deleted files

We've been using VSS for a long time but this is the first time that
we've tried to use it create separate branches for bug fix vs.
continuing development.
When I go back several labeled version and try to create a new
shared/pinned/branched project it fails with the error "Version not
found".

vs.net 2005 check in behavior

When using vs.net 2003 we had a "Check In" option, and we were prompted to
optionally add comments before the check-in took place. When using vs.net
2005 (same copy of vss), I get a "Check In Now" which immediately checks in.
We liked the idea in 2003 of adding comments - can we get this behavior back

In VSS 2005, after I've archived files in the database, running Analyze
produces an analyze.bad file with physical database file names that
correspond (only) to some of the folders in my projects. Analyze,
itself, doesn't complain about any "errors or inconsistencies", and
everything SEEMS to work OK regard ...
