VSS 2005 and CTP feb 2005

Hi, I have downloaded from MSDN the Feb 2005 CTP for Visual studio 2005, but
no Visual Source Safe 2005 appears to be in there.
I also have the Visual Studio 2005 Beta1 Refresh from june 2004, where
Visual Source Safe 2005 is included, but I could not find a way to install it
as stand alone.
What I'm try ...

Manage locally overwritten checked in files?

Tried this question in microsoft.public.vstudio.sourcesafe a few days
ago but got no answer so now I try it here and hope for better luck.
Short:
How do I check in newer versions of already checked files and
overwrite the existing checked in version in VSS? I have overwritten
the checked in files ...

We're having some very weird problems with labels after an analyze run.
Using 6.0d, we did the run and the analysis found problems. It also created
a labels folder in the backup folder containing lots of 1k files (approx
3000 to be precise).

Deploying VSS bound files

Does VSS add anything at all to VS.Net files (.vb, .aspx, etc)? Is
there any reason that files should be unbound before copying them to
production server? I was told this but haven't seen any information to
back it up.

The team development guide suggests to not include the bin dir in VSS (p20).
But my project has a reference to a 3rd party component's DLL, which then
has to be handled separately on 'Open From Visual Source Safe...'. Any ideas
on how to handle this conveniently?
