Check in now option

Previously when checking in files from VS.net I was prompted for a
description. However, I was out sick and someone else needed to check in
some files for me, apparently they clicked the check box (forget the text
next to it) that turns off this prompting.
How do I get the prompting back?

I am looking for a utility...more specifically a vs.net plugin that
can show me which files i need to get latest of from the VSS.
My project is rather huge and takes a long time if i get latest of the
entire solution.

I have installed the VSS 6.0 in windows 2000 advanced server acting as a
domain controller.i have shared the VSS folder and given full acces to
developement team users.Eventhought they are unable to login.
Once i give domain admin privillages then only they are able to login. but

When I want to add a file to the Setup project, the VS.Net IDE
complains that the vdproj file is not checked out.
So I got to check it out and rather than check out just the setup
project vdproj file, it also checks out every single other file in the
setup project.
Is it supposed to do this? Is there a w ...

Problem with solution file not updating on checkin

I have been using source safe with VS.NET for awhile but this is the
first time I have used it with a web project. I have a Solution that
contains an Enterprise Template. Inside the Enterprise template there
are multiple projects. Everything seems to work (check-in/check-out)
