uninstall VS 2005 breaks VSS in VS 2003.

hi,
i installed Vs 2005 in parallel with VS 2003. now that i have
uninstalled VS 2005, none of the source control features are available
in VS 2003. how can i 'hook' in the original VSS 6 (which is still
there) to work with VS 2003?

If I branchout my project/solution in Source Control repository. what should I do with these files?. Should I delete them before Bind operation? If I didn't delete them I get unspecified error during Bind operation. Please somebody tell me what is the procedure if we branchout.

Checked out status for files are not visible
