VS 2005 - what instead of VSS?

Hi;
What are we supposed to use now instead of VSS? I know VS 2005 says it is
going to have a new source code control system - but I can't find anything in
the version I installed.

Is it possible to run VSS and TFS side-by-side on the same machine? They
will not be sharing any of our source code so will be entirely seperate from
each other in that regard, but can I have them running on the same box?

Hi
I have Website project and it has "ProductImage" folder that keep a thousand
of images. I use VSS2005 RTM to control source code. Whenever I press check
in/out project, the VS2005 run slowly. Is there any solution for this.

I am not familar with VSS.
I wonder if there is a way to force all files being checked into VSS before
making a release (i.e. make executable file). At previous company I worked, I
used to have something (a better software?) which will force me to check in
all files if I want to make a "formal" release, but if ...

VSS Database LOCKED! HELP!

All,
We ran analyze last week, and it ran fine, and fixed many errors. Ever since
then, (a week now) the database has been "locked" and will not let anyone
log back into it. The error is, "Administrator has locked database."
However, we have not locked it. The machine has been rebooted.
Any idea how to ...
