I am in the process of writing a new Sourcesafe client using the SS API given
with Sourcesafe 2005. I am having a problem. The Date column in the file
list is supposed to show the Checkout Date if the file is checked out or the

Hello,
I have 2 project A & B belonging to same solution. Now what I want is that few forms I am accessing from A in B and few I am doing that other way around. What should I do to not get the error while building solution, I mean by the build sequencing.

VSS6 + VS2005 toooo slow!

Hi,
I have installed Visual Studio 2005 from my MSDN Pro subscription and VSS 6
on 2 computers. The Source project is on the server
Opening the project from 2 clients, the result is about 5 minutes for each
click, windows scrolling about 10 pixels every minute.... everything is
TOOOOO slow!

I followed the steps to manually configure IIS and VSS
from my previous post below.
I can successfully connect to VSS over http via
VS.NET 2005. In fact, I can get so far as to create

Can you no longer add a folder to a new project and have VSS add
the selected folder and all of its subfolders and files?

xml files in app_data, want to exclude without renaming to .exclude

hi,
i'm storing data in xml files inside the app_data folder in VS2005.
VSS keeps setting these files to read-only, which obviously means i
can't write to them. if i exclude the files in VS, they get renamed to
..exclude, but i don't want this.
does anyone have suggestions for how to deal with this situation ...
