VSS 6.0 configuration problem

Hello guys!
I am very new and unexperienced with Visual Source Safe. I just started to
use VSS 6.0 . Unfortunatelly there is some problem to setting up the shared
database on the Network. With the SourceSafe 6.0 Admin I can create the new
database (and set up the admin password, create new users, etc.), but ...

single web project. The solution was migrated from VS2003.

Using the parlance from the guidance document, "Team Development with Visual
Studio.NET and Visual SourceSafe", I will refer to a collection of solutions
and projects as a system. I will refer to the folder in VSS that holds this
collections as the system folder.

We have multitier ASP.NET Solution (DAL, Business Logic, and Web front-end)
in VS 2005 and it is under source control (VSS 8). The problem is that VS
