SP2 for Windows XP -- HELP

My system crashed about three weeks ago and we had to completely reinstall my
windows XP. Now I cannot download the SP2. I get the message that something
will not allow it to download. Can anyone help me? ...

Just install Vista SP1 and when running a visual studio web application in
2008 it will allow static ports to be used any more and if set to dynamic the
port used by the web development server and the port passed to the web
browser is off by 2.
Any solutions exist? ...

SP2 - Can't download and install

Hi all,
I have just re-installed XP and am trying to upgrade to Sp2.
I click on the install button and it brings the license agreement window up.
I agree to the license thing and it brings another window up saying "updates
not installed: service pack 2".
Not very handy!! I've tried it several times and ...

When I go to Microsoft's page and install the Service Pack 2 I get a problem
- when the machine is re-booted (as requested) it displays the Windows XP
screen with the now blue progress bar going fomr left to right. After a few
seconds of this my machine re-boots and continues to do this until I switch
it off ...
