TFS2008 and VSTS2005

Hi,
Is connectivity between VSTS2005 and TFS2008 supported?
At this point my VSTS2005 complain about code page when I try to create a
project in TFS2008. VSTS2008 clients are just fine. I wonder if I am missing
a service pack?
Any help would be appreciated

Data Sources tab not available in ASP.NET Web App project

By doing quick search I understand you cannot use the IDE to add data sources
to an ASP.NET Web Application project... (its the case even in VS2008). If
so, then you cannot really use the Linq to SQL thorugh IDE to bind controls
to object data

Changing Namspace name causes VS2008 to be useless

I changed a namespace for a few objects in a multiproject solution, now VS
2008 just keeps crashing, It's basicly useless!
Crashes every time I open the project. "Compiler error".
Crashes when I change a line of code.
Crashes when I save sometimes.
I must have sent 50+ error reports already...

Where is the default web broswer setting for VS 2005?
I'm try to view a web service and VS says it can not find FireFox (I deleted
it.), so I need to change it to use IE.

Icon for a class library in VS 2005 IDE?

I used to be able to give a .dll a custom icon in VS 2003, but that
feature does not seem to be available for VS 2005 (the item in the
Application tab of the project property pages is disabled). Anybody
know why that is, and how I can get the old functionality back?

Printing in VS2005 under 64-bit Vista

I just received a brand new 64-bit Vista machine and installed a bunch of
printers that are hooked to our network. Everything works fine when I run
applications normally and print within the applications (Word, Excel, my

Organize Usings | Remove Unused Usings

Is there a problem having "Unused Usings"? Is it a compile time or run time
problem?
I often just copy from one file to another with no concern for those I don't
need. I often wish I had the C++ feature to include in every file like
stdafx.h does.

Annoying editor feature that can't be turned off

I'm not certain if it's VS2008 that does this, or the Developer Express
Refactor plugin: I'd be obliged if someone who hasn't installed that plugin
could confirm if his system does it too.
It's probably a feature, but not one I want, it contains a bug as well, but
I can't find a way to turn it off.
