vs08 pro - invoking unit tests in automated build
Tue, 4 Mar 2008 14:01:07 -0800
We don't have vs08 pro yet, but know that we are not purchasing team system.
I read that pro has unit test capability included. We are using
CruiseControl.NET to automate builds, and were planning to run NUnit during
the auto-builds.
Can we use the vs08 unit test features, instead of NUnit, and have our

of these parameters but since SQL Server 2000 doesn't have a date type only

Migrating a VB6 dll in Sourcesafe to VB2005 dll in TFS
Thu, 21 Feb 2008 02:21:02 -0800
I'm sorry for cross posting this, not sure where it belongs.
My Upgrade Wizard only states "Upgrade failed" and produces a log file I

Could this be because of the sourcesafe?
I've got VS2005 Team Edition for Developers and rights to our tfs,
but I don't have VB6, VB6 runtime or SourceSafe. ...

Sun, 10 Feb 2008 09:31:53 -0800
I have a legitimate copy of Enterprise 2007. When I try to install it can't
find Access.en-us/AccLR.cab. I'm guessing that if I find that cab it will
need others. The DVD has those files but can't locate them. Any ideas? I
really don't want to go thru torrent or a site like that in order to keep
stuff off of ...

documentation. I know you need to purchase a separate CAL to access project
data directly to TFS (via Team Explorer). My question is for other
non-developers (analysts/testers) that need access TFS to update/add new
project documen ...

vstesthost.exe changes in VS2008
Wed, 6 Feb 2008 11:15:01 -0800
Hi - We are implementing a custom test type for VSTT. Our package works fine
with VS2005 but when we moved it to 2008 it fails due to the following
changes we noticed in VS2008.
1. In 2005, the test assembly used to always be copied to the out folder.
Now it doesn't. What do we need to set on our TestElement ...
