corrupt results - how can I fix it?

I have a problem where after a length of time (weeks) some results
return from a query to the catalog are missing "vpath" values. So far
the only fix I've found is to delete the catalog and remake it, but
having to do this every few weeks is not exacly ideal.

Hi Zhang,
I know it has been a long time but I feel I should let you know how I
rectified this problem.
In the end, the solution was simple. I added a line in the IDQ file for
"Cicatalog" with the path to the search folder.
It works fine now. I did not need to have this path in the IDQ file on my
devel ...

Simple document meta-data not found

Hello All,
I try to find meta-data from a plain textfile with the help of the
indexserver, but these are never returned for simple text-files [*.txt]. I
used Windows Explorer proeprty view to assign a title and some keywords. But
this works, for example with a file without any extension and for *.gif
also.
