can the iis/smtp/mailroot directory be changes?

There does not seem to be a property or any obvious way to do this.

Incoming mail not being delivered?

All incoming mail is being directed to the 'Drop' folder and not delivered to the recipient, I can send out email ok but when I reply or send, it's only getting as far as the 'Drop' folder.
Does anyone know why this might happen and what I can do to overcome it?
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated ...

access. now what I noticed is that it pulls the group name but doesn't have
any articles. why is this and how do I make this happen.

smtp delivery failure, connection is dropped by remote host.

SMTP mail sends upon boot then the connection is dropped.
We are using MS Exchange smtp server in Exchange 2003 on SBS 2003.
This is a new installation replacing an older server which is just
overloaded.

Exchange SMTP service stops and disables itself

I'm writing this on behalf of a colleague overseas.
On a daily basis (up to a few times a day) his Exchange 2000 server for the
last 2 years, the SMTP service Stops and sets the Startup type to 'Disable'.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
