internal domain), with user and password from my internal domain (active
directory). Could i make a ldap connection to my domain ? how ?

windows xp sp2 not sending news/ mail

I have 98se on c: and xpsp2 on e: making my box a dual boot.
My xpsp2 partition is not sending news/mail. It is receiving
everything and it is browsing well.
I had zonealarm 4.5 free, but I have disabled that.
I had nav 2005, but that faced some problem one month ago, and
now that is permanently disable ...

CDOSYS does not work

I'm trying to convert form CDONTS to CDOSYS. CDONTS works but CDOSYS does
not? I was told if CDONTS works on your server, so should CDOSYS.
Does anyone know of settings I'm missing? Some kind of example would be
great.

Hello,
I have made an SMTP gateway with IIS (windows server 2003 SP1) and i put
anti-relaying control.
The trouble is spoofing mail :
Someone could use my smtp gateway as its smtp mail server to send mail to my
domain with a false from field like : john@mydomain.com
How to block this kind of mail ?

I am working with a web developer and his app need to mail using CDO. It
doesn't work because there is a bunch of his mail stuck in the IIS Smtp
Queue. I opened a telnet session as shown in

I have a IIS 5.0 SMTP mail server setup and it succesfully sends email but
will not receive mail.
Any mail sent to it seems to be denied due to this error;

from here, the email goes fine.

Is there someone who use it to send massive email ?
I have a static IP, and more than 150.000 messages to send.
I'm afraid about the big queue that will be on that server.
Do you think this IIS SMTP is ok to do that kind of work ?
Bandwidth is 2Mb , I believe 24-36h will be the maximun time to do the work.
