FTP error using a MAC

We are using a miniMAC [Mac OS X 10.4.11 (852167) Darwin 8.11.1] and
attempting to FTP to a Microsoft Windows 2003 (Web Edition) FTP Server
published via ISA 2000.
We can access the FTP server via a Windows PC using WS_FTP, windows explorer
or the command line FTP however when attempting to FTP from the miniMA ...

How to secure FTP on Windows 2003

Hi,
I have FTP server and I see that "bad guys" all the time trying to
break it with "Administrator" user.
What are recommended options to secure it (disable Administrator
account is not acceptable)?
Is there a way completely prevent for "Administrator" account to login
through FTP?
Or at least maybe ther ...

Event ID 13, MSFTPSVC Cannot access the home directory

First let me say my FTP Site with Active Directory User Isolation has
functioned in the past until recently. Even now the behavior is very strange.
* I can still login with no issues
* A service account that was able to login previously with no issues, is no
longer able to login , home directory inaccessible.

How do I create a folder in ISS FTP that will require users to type in the
username such as email address and password before they are able to access
the folder? Also is there a limit on the number or users that can be set to
