User cannot upload or download

I'm sure there's an easy answer to this one.
I have created a default ftp site on IIS on W2K.
I have not allowed anonymous connections.
I have created a user.
The user can see the ftp directory, but not upload or download from it. How
do I allow this user to do this? I can't find where I set this user's ...

typical - we've got an FTP site, where every user has his own
directory.
i am currently creating Virtual Directory for every user so that he is
directed there.
the bad thing about that is that if the user is "jojo" the current
working directory is "/jojo"

configuration on a new server with Windows 2003 and IIS6.
For section "WEB SITES” I have tried “IIS Migration Tools”, but I do not

Hi,
some sick person is bugging my FTP server on IIS5 with loads of
(unsuccessful) connection attempts (approx. 200,000 the last two months). Is
there any way of stopping this nerd from steeling my processing time?
