Hello all I have setup an ftp site on windows 2003 server using IIS. I
turned off anonymous login and granted access to only specific IPs. I
would like to set up an automated task using a txt file but it does not
seem to work. Below is the command line I am using to initiate the ftp.

FTP Upload Timing Out

We currently FTP from a XP Workstation up to a 2003 Server. With the XP
firewall on we are able to FTP smaller files. However, with larger files the
connection eventually times out. As a work around we have been disabling the
XP firewall and larger files are then able to be uploaded. Any

When I try to upload a file (2+GB), it gets about 25 or 50% thru and then
the FTP job dies. It says the file on the server is being locked by another
process (INETINFO) and it can continue.

FTP transmission issue

The problem is that the FTP going out from the server will work for a
certain time then will fail pushing files.

Trouble moving files around within FTP site

Hey folks,
I can successfully upload, download, and delete files to my FTP site,
but I am not able to move a file from one folder to another folder...
My username has full control over the root folder.

Hi, I have a Windows 2000 server FTP setup and only the users have the
administrative right can login. I even try to assign the login rights on the
IIS to allow certain users to login to the FTP. But they still can't login.
Anyone know why? Or I have to manually change the local policy to "allow user
