I am looking for a freeware that can automatically and securely FTP
files that are added to a "watch folder" (i.e. it will instantly FTP
to an SSH server any file that is dropped into the local "watch

I have a question that is similar to others that I have read in the posts.
I have an SBS 2003 FTP service runing and can access it internally just
fine.
Except from external, I keep on getting:
ftp> open {MY IP ADDRESS}
Connected to {MY IP ADDRESS}
{and after 10 seconds or so}
Connection closed by remot ...

User connected with no identity

I just set up ftp on a Windows 2003 server. Allow anonymous is unchecked.
But each morning I notice a connection that has been going on for 4 hours
but no user name is listed just the IP address. Guest user is disabled and I
have renamed the Adminstrator user.
Any idea what that is and if it is someone conne ...

Can't access FTP site over the internet

I have setup FTP which i log in within my computer. Like using ftp ip
address and it allows me to login in wiht my credentials.
But when i try ot login from a remote location it doesn't conect. I tired
with IE and filezilla. I have openened port in windows firewall still doesn't

Hi,
I have more than 100 virtual FTP directories. I need to change network share
parameter in all of them. Is there a way to automate this process?
Currently I have them as
\\server1\ftp\xxxx\inbound
I need to change it to
\\server2\ftp\xxxx\inbound
xxxx - unique numeric identifier for each directory.
