IE7 and IIS

We have a small Windows Server 2000 box that runs IIS 5.0
When users click the FTP link in IE7, they can view ALL the folders!!! We
cannot upgrade this dinky machine to Server 2003 mainly because all our REAL
servers run that and we have our old Windows 2000 license running this

I'm a Windows 2000 Server user and I will be moving to Windows 2003 Web Ed.
I've read that the W2003 handles user isolation unlike W2000 Server's FTP
service.
Does W2003's FTP service allow you to handle multiple domains even though I
only have a single IP Address or does each domain require its own IP Add ...

Copy operation timeout

I set up an ftp site and it works fine except that when I want to copy over
files I often get a message 'timed out' is there any way to set the timeout
variable? or it may be related to something else

FTP keeps asking for username/password

I have an FTP site setup on Windows 2003 R2.
I have a user that logs on to the site. They are able to get into the
folder for a quick moment.

I setup the FTP SITE as follows.
- FTP site (D:\Products)
- Virutal directory 1: "PDF" (D:\Web\pdf)
- Virutal directory 2: "MISC" (D:\Web\misc)
When user access the above ftp site (xx.xx.xx.xx), he can view the list of
files but cannot view the virtual directory name at this position. And he
