Its been a while since I have dealt with IIS... I know you can create a
folder for the sites content anywhere (as long as you set permissions
correctly) but if you are going to stick with the default structure that is
already there do you make new folders for each new site right under inetpub

Hyperlink in Word in IIS6 Intranet site

Failed Request Tracing Rules icon missing

IIS7, WS2008 x64 SP1 which is also a domain controller.
I installed Tracing under the server roles and now can turn on Failed
Request Tracing, but cannot configure rules because the rules icon is
missing. How do I get the icon to come up so that I can edit the rules.

I feel like IIS6 64bit is the red headed stepchild of Microsoft at
every turn I am unable to use the diagnostics tools. After downloading
and trying to install the TraceDiag tool (yes the one that is x64) I
get "your processor is not supported" message. Why is the x64 install
not supported on a 64bit machine? ...
