IIS problem with PUT Verb

Hi,
i have developed a C++ application which has to upload a file with "PUT"
verb to the IIS with anonymous authentication.
This works fine with IIS 5.0. But in IIS 7.0 when i try to upload i am
getting a error message that "Method Not allowed".
I tried all with WebDav and URLscan. But nothing works correctl ...

I think that my issue may be permissions.
I develop intranet e-learning programs that connect to Access 2007 and 2003
databases via classic asp pages. On Win XP, I tested these programs on the
IIS that came with Win XP Pro. Once I resolved the permissions issues,
everthing ran fine.

Editing Metabase.xml

Hello,
I have a need to edit Metabase.xml. The purpose of editing it is to
allow IIS to redirect 401.1 error to an URL instead of to an HTML
file. So I need to change "401,1,Unauthorized,Logon failed,1" to
"401,1,Unauthorized Logon failed,0".

Sometimes the web browser does not get any response and there is a timeout
after a while. The pattern is that we go to one page, wait a couple of

DFS, IIS + .NET and NTFS permissions issue

Hi all,
I've noticed an issue with DFS and NTFS permissions, and seems to be for
files/folders currently being served by IIS.
DFS is working great. I can copy a 125MB file and amend it / change it, etc
and the other two servers we have see the file or changes etc within 20 secs.

IIS 6.0 crash due to reporting services

Hello!
Today I checked the server for a strange error; the app-pool containing the
SSRS-application was stopped and the logs said it crashed due to an
application error.
Ok, i guess this is some bug in SSRS but can we avoid the stopped
application pool with some IIS setting?

No ASPNET tab in IIS on 64bit 2003r2 server

I was trying to setup a virtual directory site and the instructons called
for verifying the aspnet tab had 2.xxxx
I could find the aspnet tab on any of my 64bit 2003 r2 iis6 servers. Any
ideas??
