Cached domain\username

I have a user who changed their name. Her Active Directory account was
changed to reflect the name change. Now when she hits an internal website
that requires proper credentials to gain access, a box pops up showing her
old username. Where is this cached and how can I reset it so that her new
name is pass ...

slow IIS file download

server hangs with HTTPS enabled

Windows Server 2003 Enterprise 32-bit SP2 w/latest patches, running IIS 6.0
with an ASP.NET (2.0.50727) application.
The server will run fine for days, then it becomes more or less unresponsive
to the point where pings against are failing. If we manage to RDP into it,
the screen will update for a few second ...

I installed a new Server 2008 Installation with IIS 7.0
I am not able to access the server by IP address to view web pages, either
by remote work stations or via IE on the server desktop.
I am able to view the default web pages on the desktop by server name I used
to bind it with.

I am running Windows 2003 x64 with IIS 6.0. I was told to install v1.1 of
the .NET Framework, which I downloaded from Microsoft. I ran the script to
be able to run 32-bit apps on a 64-bit server (Using dual Xeon processors) as
requested by the program.

I have created NTFS junction points so that I can point some additional
folders to one location e.g.
http://server/theOtherFolder actually points to http://server/theFolder

We are in the process of migrating our server from W2k IIS5 to 64 bit W2k3
IIS 6. The players in this equation are our ISAPI 5.0 DLL and ASP.Net.
Our ISAPI 5.0 DLL isnow running in the Enable32BitAppOnWin64 = 1 mode.
However, it seems like all our ASP.Net pages are getting loaded in the same

I am getting the following events about every 15 to 30 sec and they are
filling up my Event Log.
I tried to unload and load performance counter information and restarted the

virtual directory using root web site web.config

In IIS 6 I have a virtual directory conifugred for .Net framework v2
but the web site appears to be using the web.config of the root web
site. The virtual directory also has its own application pool.
Why is this doing this and how can it be changed so that virtual
directory only uses its own web.config file? ...
