ASP.NET 2 user control rendering

I'm developing a user control like a calendar that displays, for each day, a
set of information: the day of the month, if the day is an holiday then a
green circle at the left corner, if the day is locked then a red circle in

Font Rasterizing Component

Aside from the D-Type Font Rasterizer, does anyone know of another method or
component to create a JPEG/GIF headline graphic from a string on the fly?
I was trying to avoid placing a Flash graphic and passing the string into
it. I would rather have a JPEG.
I am running IIS 6 on Windows 2003.

Error using SMTPsvg.Mailer

When i'm using the "SMTPsvg.Mailer" component local on my machine i get this
error "Server object, ASP 0177 (0x800401F3) Invalid class string ....".
No problem when i'm running it from a server.
What do i need on my local machine to get this to work ? ...

Application Event Log security issue on Windows 2003

Does anyone know how to get this to work?
Application Event Log does not work with (C++ COM) components that I call
from ASP pages on Windows 2003 (security issue), or on XP Professional.
The two following tricks are not helping either (published on the Internet).
