Some questions..
Tue, 30 Aug 2005 14:13:03 -0700
I have some questions that I would appreciate if someone could answer:
1) How and where are all the relations, keywords etc saved? I couldn“t get
that into my head while watching the video.
2) How do the WinFS get all the mails and stuff? Do I have to copy every
mail ino the WinFS Store? Sounds a little ...

StoreSpy should become StoreEditor
Tue, 30 Aug 2005 16:50:15 +0200
I've been toying around with the StoreSpy, and it looks like quite a handy
tool. However would it be nice if it gets extended into an item editor.
WinFS will need something like an expert tool to edit the contents,
something more professional than the Explorer, which will be geared to
regular consumers.

Concatenating all the services?
Tue, 30 Aug 2005 16:39:40 +0200

- WinFS
- WinFS File Promotion Manager
- WinFS RsFx Service
- WinFS Search Engine

object. That DataSet has a bunch of tables and relation ...

What happens if WinFS Beta 1 is installed on Windows Server 2003?
Mon, 29 Aug 2005 16:27:18 -0400
Most of our developer VPC images are Windows Server 2003 (and SharePoint
Portal Server) based.
I know from the Readme that only WinXP Home and Pro are officially
supported...
....but are there any actual issues/limitations installing and usingWinFS
Beta 1 on Windows Server 2003?
Michael.

few questions on WinFS beta 1
Tue, 30 Aug 2005 01:24:03 +0200
As I do not have access to MSDN now I have to ask here :O)
Already read http://blogs.msdn.com/winfs/ so some questions been answered.
But definitely not all. Some of those that persisted are:
- do WinFS asset* has to derive from Item class ? If not - what are others
scenarios ?
- has 8Kb Item& ...
