OK, so WinFS Beta 1 was released and it works against .NET 50215. Will we

version from MSDN, then installed the WinFS MSI without installing
anything else (i.e. I didn't install any of the unsupported stuff).
Installation was seemingly successful, as indicated by the message
from the installer.

Sat, 10 Sep 2005 18:05:25 +0100
I tried to install WinFS on Windows 2003 (without properly reading the
install instructions) and was surprised that it wouldn't install.
Is there any way to get WinFS Beta 1 running on Windows 2003?
Thanks

Moving Items between NTFS and WinFS
Sat, 10 Sep 2005 11:34:29 +0200
Hi,
if I understand correctly, there are file-backed items and Items that are
completely stored in the database (usually smaller items).
If I move an Item to a normal NTFS-drive, what happens to the data that is
stored in the database?
Thanks,
Thomas Krause
