file names highlighter in windlows explorer

when using windows XP I found a terrific application from Xentient software
which allowed to change the background colour of file names with a
right-click.
I relly miss that feature: unfortunately the same software does not work in
Window Vista or 7, probalby due to the Areo utility.

Filesystem CPU usage getting too much?

plays a major part in Filesystem performance but is rarely taken into account.

Will we ever see anything of WinFS?
I was skeptical back in 2004 when it was announced but i'm still very
curious and in wait to hear more about plans for this unique storage system.
I've noticed that SQL server 2008 r2 has benifited from some of the ideas
and technology.

Do I have a virus or something?
All I know is that something has ate (destroyed) every bit of security I
have on my computer and will NOT allow me to download anything that resembles
a security system scan....
I have tried to download 'Kapspersky' from a disc (my original securiy) but

DirectX isn't working at all!

Just recently i had my computer fixed and lost all my files. The repairmen
added basic programs and re-installed my vista system but now when i look in
:C for directX it isnt there...
