Lost network on 5342 (32bit)..HELP!

I just installed 5342 (clean), having deleted and formated 5308. I can't
get connected to my LAN network. I've reinstalled twice. Also I see
still can't get the network desktop icon unless you use classic view.
Any possible are greatly appreciated.

OpenProcess for service PID from user app

We have a server application that can be run as a service. In order to
communicate with with the server app, our client application, which runs
under a user account, uses:
OpenProcess( PROCESS_DUP_HANDLE, FALSE, server_pid )
This has worked with earlier windows versions, including Win 2000 and XP.

VISTA build 5308 install error

I get the following error:
“An internal setup error occurred while displaying the image selection
wizard.”
And then a follow on error:
“The instruction at 0x77f11912 referenced memory at 0x00000014. The memory
could not be written.”
Any idea how to fix this? I have a Dell GX110 P3 with 51 ...

I have installed the Hands-On Labs (VS 2005 Express) and compiled the
HOL-PRSHOL08 (RichConeten) project (Task1). The build failed with the 'The
referenced component 'System.Security.Authorization' could not be found. '
message. Anybody knows why?

Virtual filesystem

I'd like to have a virtual folder for a special device to be integrated into
explorer's filesystem view. The preferable way would be to have an individual
drive. But it is also acceptable to have a virtual folder. The only
requirement I have is that explorer should behave like for real filesystem
