AttachConsole() on Win 2000

I am using AttachConsole() api in MFC dialog based application to write data
to parent console from where application executed.
However this API is not supported in Win2000.
Please suggest any alternative to get same task done on WIn 2000.

If you are in the mood to wear a bright shade of purple, then you
