SysReAllocStringLen exception when using ApplicationVerifier

Hello,
The following code generates an exception when using Application Verifier:
BSTR strTest = SysAllocString(L" NewMsgFilter1");
SysReAllocStringLen(&strTest, strTest + 1, 2);
Am I misunderstanding the usage of SysReAllocStringLen or there is a problem
within Application Verifier?

application verifier doesn't catch error

By using signtool and by signing a large file ( 600 Mo) we have the

"SignTool Error: ISignedCode::Sign returned error: 0x80092002
