Hello,
I have tried out the following Pixel shader code to create a Mosaic
Effect when a texture is applied for a simple rectangle. (Clamp U, V

Unicode problem

I have a COM component developed using VS2005 (VC).
This project having support for Unicode, because i set the Unicode
charaecter set. I am calling one method of IGraphBuilder interface.
But it is returning error "The filename, directory name, or volume
label syntax is incorrect".

D3D HAL device disappears with DirectX SDK November 2007 edition

When DirectX SDK November 2007 edition is istalled on my PC (running XP SP2)
- D3D HAL device disappears - only REF device is present. With DirectX SDK
June 2007 edition everything works fine - both HAL and REF devices are
available. Problem was observed with both Nvidia 7300LE card and Intel i965
IGP.
