Hello Everyone
I'm relatively new to DirectShow - got hold of GraphEdit recently and
it has been very very useful and easy to play around with - provided I
use the filters that are already defined!!!
What I really want to do is - be able to play ringtones on a mobile

I am capturing live data, indefinitely, i set the sample grabber and get the
data from BufferCB. After some time the sampletime variable of type double
get a value that is to big for the type. How could i reset the sample time to
zero without restarting. I do not want to loose data. ...

How to mute audio from DirectShow

I do not want to use IBasicAudio and set the volume to -10000, I want to be
able to mute/unmute without changing volume, and have the mute synch'd with
the mute in the task bar audio control.

What should be done when the secondary buffer is empty!

I am dealing with live streaming system. Network delay can cause gaps
between audio data blocks. When using waveout, I can watch the buffer
and fill silence into the buffer, but dsound has two buffers, which
one should I watch to determine whether to fill in some stuff? ...

Is there a way in DS to identify an audio file needs a license to playback or
transcode?
When adding the lisensed audio file to GraphEdit, it pops up an error of
return code: 0xc00d0bbe. Is the return code reliable to identify such audio

DMO Property Pages not accessible

I have got a DShow based audio application that can use DMO Audio Effects
(e.g. the DirectX built-in ParamEQ) and show their property pages in order
to let the user change the effect settings. The DMOs are handled through the
DMO Wrapper Filter of DShow.
All works fine since years under Win2k and XP, but not ...
