Desktop icons suddenly don't work

We've got Windows 2000 on a laptop and suddenly some of the desktop icons
don't work. They are all visible, but when you click on some of them (for
example, Internet Explorer or the recycling bin) the screen refreshes and

Can't Install Game

I am running Windows XP Home Edition. I've been trying to install a new game
(Command and Conquer - The First Decade) on my computer using a PCDVD disk.

I'm using the Jscript.Eval code to evaluate expressions, but I was
wondering: is it possible to have the eval recognize external functions
(defined in an assembly myself).
I noticed you have add Items to the VSAEngine. Would this work ?

buffer overrun when playing Quicktime movies

hi. I receive an error message MS Visual C++ runtime library error and it
lists quicktimeplayer.exe as causing the corruption. The error occurs after
approx 10 sec's after playing any quicktime movies. I have scanned
averything. De/Reintalled quicktime version 7, even tried the latest and
oldest versions.
