All of them use a standard (here anyway) technique of calling a public sub
and passing the form reference byref so many frequently used subs/functions
can be used without regard to the calling form's name.

I'm upgrading some code that someone else has written and in their Upgrade
Support module they have defined a variable as Excel.Global which no longer
works with VB6. I've attempted defining it as a
Microsoft.office.Interop.Excel but it's expecting a Type.
Any ideas on what i can do with this Excel.Global ...

can't interpret.
Could this be because of the sourcesafe?
I've got VS2005 Team Edition for Developers and rights to our tfs,
