I'm using wbemtest to confirm WMI connectivity between 2 2003 servers in the
same domain. I type the server \\servername\root\default in the namespace
and I click connect. I get the error access is denied. If I go in and
specify the domain admin as the credentials for the connection, it connects

I am attempting to use the following code to locate the specific WMI
record (Win32_Volume) for a specific volume, which may not have a drive
letter or yet be formatted. When I pass "F:" or "Z:" as the

This code does not work. I would appreciate any suggestions. I have to
specify a domain name that is not even in its container otherwise it objects
with errors abotu the method being invalid at GetMethodParameters. I have
been able to create the zone and nameservers using similar methods without a

Getting Row Count from WMI Tables

Hi,
I am trying to use the syntax COUNT(*) to get the row count of WMI
tables. But When I use COUNT(*) in the query and pass it as parameter
to ObjectQuery. I get the error "Not Supported" .
Can anyone tell me how I can get Count(*) in WMI?
