.NET Framework 2.0 setup hangs

One of my new programs needs .NET Framework 2.0, but I only have 1.1
installed. So, I downloaded dotnetfx.exe from MS. But when I run it, all goes
well til "Registering Type Library". When it reaches the following, it just

how to uninstall .net framework 1.1 on server 2003/R2

I get "the product you are trying to install has already been
installed" message when trying to run dotnetfx.exe on a server 2003
machine. I need to uninstall in order to reinstall a custom version
of the dotnetfx.exe, but .net framework 1.1 does not appear in the
control panel 'install/uninstall apps' applet.

1. Install the app in C:\Program Files\Company Name\Product Name folder.

I've load pro x64 and updated my board drivers all but the sound. I've
donlaoded the realteck 64 drivers however I get an error messasage (failure
