Hello,
I want to have some web services aloneside of my ASP.NET. I want that
these web services be private means that only people who has suitable user
name and password can use them. Is this possible? Is there any sample or
information on how to handel login to such web services?

I am using Visual Studio 2003. In the past I would use a copy of the
wsdl stored in my harddrive (C:\dir\dir\x.wsdl), instead of using a
url in the Add Web Reference wizard. However, now I get an error
message, "There was an error downloading".

URL based Namespace and others

all using namespace something like
WebService(Namespace="Microsoft.Samples.XmlMessaging.WebServices") in
stead of typical url based something like
