Working with a datatable derived from normalised data

I'm a new C# programmer, and I must have read a ton of books (wrox, mspress)
but I'm missing the "how to" when I have several normalised tables that need
to be merged into one datatable so I can bind it to a grid control.
How are updates handled? How are "joined" tables with foriegn keys updated?

Hi,
I try to create database access to SQL server through code. All the classes
are not recognized.
If I throw objects from the toolbox it is OK but in the code it's like
something is missing.
In C# I use System.Data but to no avail.

We have implemented a vb.net frontend that access a SQL-Server via VNP.
Actully the frontend retrieve several dataset and show them to the user. The
problem is that some of those dataset have more than 25.000 rows so it
slowdown the program. My question is:

I’m using Strong Data Types DataSets. Using it is great for several reasons,
one of them is creating new rows using NewTableRow, this row is not a simple
DataRow, but a complex DataRow with table fields as properties,
xmlSchemaWriting, etc..
But when you perform table.Select it returns a simple DataRow(), ...
