VS 2003.Net and SQL Server

I'm trying to connect to a VM that is running W2K3 and SQL Server 2000.
In the VS IDE when I go to Server Explorer and add the server I cannot
connect to any of the databases, and receive an error that "A trusted SQL

VB.NET 2003 problems

Recently i installed VB.NET 2003 on XP Profesional (incl. IIS).
The problem now is that, i've received error messages such as cannot create
offline cache & the character name is not valid.
Furthermore, when i wanted to create a web form in VB.NET, let's say

almost every book on object oriented programming does tell you, you should
not use any public attributes in a class. Instead you should provide get/set
Methods or properties (in c# for example).
