and I get the preview to function.

Duplicate album art for one album

While looking through my albums, I notice there are two of the same album.
One of them is correct, and most of the songs. In the other album the art is
either different or same, and consists of one or two songs. What is causing
this redundancy? Is there something in the metadata that I can't access to
clear ...

Sound, but no picture

WinXP
Various video files that played fine are now only playing sound, with a grey
blank screen.
I've Binged and Googled, but find nothing. I've tried to reload. Unloaded
additional codecs. Nothing.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

No audio from DVD using hdmi port

Hi there,
I'm encountering this strange (for me) problem with WMP while playing
dvd movies: it doesn't send audio through the hdmi port to the lcd tv!
If I disconnect the hdmi cable then I can perfectly hear the audio track
from pc speakers. This happens just with WMP playing dvd movies!!! I get
no problem ...

Blu-ray Drive Needs an Application

I have a laptop with a Blu-ray ROM drive. I upgraded from Vista Home Premium
to Ultimate 64 bit. When I try to play a Blu-ray movie I get error "There is
no application to run Blu-ray drive". What is missing? Are there drivers
that need upgrading or is there an application I need to imstall.

A 'Tag' problem with Win Media Player 11

I got a new comp and am stuck with ver. 11 Media Player.
With Media Player 10, I could click on the songs in the Now Playing
list and fill in their tags or change them. How in the heck does one
manipulate tags in ver. 11? ...

Only some Flac Albums Showing up in WMP 12

I have the FLac codec and tag addon. Only a few of my Flac Albums are
showing. For example in my beatles directory there are 10 albums.
Only 4 show.
Any ideas? Dragging and dropping into WMP doesn't work either. All
albums are in My Music directory which is indexed by WMP.

How can I make my MP open/play any WMV or other videofile as fast the
VLC-player ?
I don't understand why MP is so slow considerating it should be designed for
the WMV-files ???
I'm using XP-pro Sp3 --- I belive I'm using the latest MP but now it's
almost impossible for us "normal users" to see the version ...
