I have somme problems with Windows Media Player 12 (Windows 7). I have
removed files mp3 of the library but they still appear in WMP 12 , it is
impossible to remove them from WMP 12. The following message appears: " The

Cannot play m4a file with WMP/ffdshow

I'm running WMP 11 on Win XP and installed ffdshow so that I could
play .m4a files downloaded from iTunes. However, when trying to open
an m4a from WMP, I get the error:
"Window Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not
support the file type ..."

media player 12 - strange problem with mts, m2ts, avi (all h.264)

i´v upgraded my vista to 64it win 7, ok.
But in Mediaplayer i have very rare problem - cannot playback h.264
files correctly (mts files from my hd camera) - video runs smoothly,
but audio only grrrrrrrrrrrr noise .. With other programs, or on
another PC with win 7 it is ok.

Hi everybody,
I installed Windows 7 a few days ago. Eveything seems OK except for Windows
Media Player V 12, which doesn't seem to be able to play mpeg files.
However, it can play DVD and AVI, WMV files.
These mpeg video files cannot either be played with Media Center, but are
played OK with another play ...

Calculating Space Burning Space on CD

I'm running WMP10.
I've got a lot of lossless .wmas that were ripped from CDs. I now want to
make a custom CD and burn the files as .cda. How can I tell when I've
added enough song files to the playlist so that I don't go over what a
blank CD will hold? I don't see a way to do this.

WMP12 Artist View Without Album Art

Hi,
I would like to be able to see the artists listed without all the album
graphics, but without the album content. In WMP11 it was a simple option
which allowed me to switch to the old-style WMP10 view. Does this no longer
exist in WMP12? ...
