Remote controlling WMP over a Win 7 office network

Hi All,
We have one machine in our office with Windows Media Player (latest
version under Win7 Pro x64) with a massive music library and speakers
distributed through the office. I'd like each computer in the office
to be able to remote control that Windows Media Player - is that
possible? If so, how?

Streaming media

I am trying to configure WMP 11 installed on Windows XP Pro to stream
video/pictures/audio to the other computers and tv on the network.
Here are the results I am getting:
1) WMP 12 installed in a computer with win7 will detect the files and play
them with no problems

Windows Media Player Won't Open

I use Windows 7 and Media Player Version 12.
I can click on a file and I'll hear it, but I can't get Media Player
to open.
I can see the icon in the Task Bar, but it's like it's been
permanantly minimized. I can't even get the Mplayer.exe file to open
so I can check it and make changes. ...
